Creating safe, affordable housing and healthy communities

AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Since 1993, we have created 168 units of affordable housing in Corvallis. Each of these units—from renovated apartments to newly constructed two-story homes—is made available to low-income households.

The map to your right shows the locations of rental properties (red) as well as single-family homes that have been developed for purchase (blue). Properties that are currently under development are marked in green.

Sources of capital for housing development include federal housing and community development funds administered by the City of Corvallis, the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, the Oregon Affordable Housing Tax Credit Program, Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, Corvallis Neighborhood Housing Services revolving development funds, and public and private grants and loans.

A popular way to contribute to Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services is to donate to our Revolving Development Fund so that your donation can help create more affordable housing.

We develop both multi-family rental properties and single-family houses for first-time home buyers. Our first homeownership project was the Good Neighbor subdivision in southeast Corvallis. See the Current News page for information about other home ownership projects in progress.
