OUR SERVICES

Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services offers a wide range of housing-related services to individuals and families in Oregon's Linn and Benton Counties.

Through our Affordable Housing Development program, we create safe, decent, affordable housing by constructing new, single- and multi-family units and renovating existing property. Our ongoing Services to Tenants help nurture these new communities by supporting and empowering the individuals and families who live in them.

In addition, we help low-income households become first-time homebuyers through our Home Ownership Program; and we promote Financial Literacy through classes and programs that help people learn to manage money and credit and save for their future.

Annie Ingersoll

"I didn’t know anything about buying a house," says Annie Ingersoll. Besides giving her the knowledge she needed to negotiate the process, she thinks the things she learned in the Homebuyer Education Class saved her from making a big mistake.

After taking the class, she found a house she wanted to buy. "It seemed like the perfect little house for me," she says. But after the house was inspected she found it didn’t pass her minimum standards, so she decided to keep looking.
