VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Below are some of our current volunteer opportunities:

Home Buyer Education
Description: Help teach Home Buyer Education classes to first-time home buyers.
Time commitment: Classes are offered to the public monthly. Volunteer instructors must first be certified to teach the class by attending a one-day "Train the Trainer" course offered by the Home Buyer Education Collaborative of Oregon.

Affordable Housing Project Committee
Description: Become part of a committee that meets periodically to advise our staff and board of directors on community housing needs, priorities, and project opportunities.
Time commitment: One 1.5 hour meeting per month.

Special Event Planning
Description: Help us plan and organize special events, such as our annual reception and periodic tours.
Time commitment: Negotiable – help with one event or many (workload depends on the time of year and scheduled events).

Fundraising Committee
Description: Help the Fundraising Committee plan and implement our annual campaign.
Time commitment: The Fundraising Committee meets monthly. Additional time commitments depend on planned activities.
